HoW maintains the Secular South Sound Meetup group as an organizational tool for social meetups. Some events are cross-posted on HoW’s Facebook page.

• Freethinkers Independence Day Picnic. On or near July 4th, HoW collaborates with Seattle Atheists to celebrate our nation’s independence with a midday potluck picnic and cookout in Seattle’s Ravenna Park before friends scatter to enjoy fireworks later in the evening.
  
• Winter Solstice Potluck Celebration.  Started by a humanist congregant at the University Unitarian Church in Seattle, HoW assumed responsibility for organizing and hosting this annual event that welcomes freethinkers from all over the Puget Sound region.  HoW teams with Seattle Atheists and the University Unitarian Church for this flagship event.
