Humanists of Washington promotes and sponsors activities of interest to Humanists and other non-believers, as well as those seeking to know more about Secular Humanism.
FLAGSHIP EVENTS
- Winter Solstice Celebration: Started by a humanist congregant at the University Unitarian Church in Seattle, HoW assumed responsibility for organizing and hosting this annual event that welcomes freethinkers from all over the Puget Sound region. HoW teams with Seattle Atheists and the University Unitarian Church for this flagship event.
- Independence Day Picnic: On or near July 4th, HoW collaborates with Seattle Atheists to celebrate our nation’s independence with a midday potluck picnic and cookout in Seattle’s Ravenna Park before friends scatter to enjoy fireworks later in the evening.

Humanists of Washington – Secular South Sound Meetup
Come socialize with the podcast team of Ask An Atheist With Sam Mulvey. All ages are welcome at this friendly social meetup. Listen to current and past podcasts any time at http://atheist.radio, on KTAH-LP 101.9 FM, or on KTQA-LP 95.3 FM in Tacoma, and spend some time with humanists in person!
