Sam is a systems administrator, broadcast engineer, public speaker, and activist. He produces and hosts the long-running radio program Ask An Atheist With Sam Mulvey and works for local low-power community radio stations.  He’s held his HAM radio operator license since age 13.

Becky Friedman, Secretary.  Becky is a public school educator, and has taught all grades preK-12.  She mainly teaches Spanish and academic support classes to culturally and linguistically diverse high school students in South King County.

Fernando Aguilar, Member at Large.  Fernando Aguilar is a civil engineer, former Peace Corps participant, and civil servant living in the Tri-Cities area where he and his wife Yvonne relocated to after raising their family in Walla Walla. His passions include community outreach, Hispanic and Latino student achievement, Humanism, political activism, and the fight to maintain church-state separation in Washington and throughout our nation.

Robert Ray, Member at Large.  Robert is a certified Humanist celebrant who has given numerous secular invocations at government functions in Washington State.  He founded The Original Motto Project and has served as president of Humanists of North Puget Sound. Robert and his wife produce the podcast Secular Yakking.

Rebecca Vitsmun, Member at Large.  Rebecca developed a disaster volunteer program for the atheist and humanist community and enjoys giving back to her local community in Pierce County, WA.

Joshua Oberg, Member at Large.  Josh is a U.S. Army veteran who works in IT.  He volunteers as a Big Brother and works with Sam to increase access to refurbished technology for students and young people.
